Sirius, XM, and SiriusXM refer to three different platforms, which refer to the technology your satellite radio was built upon and determine which subscription plans you can receive.

For example:

• The Lynx and Edge radios are on the SiriusXM platform and receive SiriusXM plans.
• The Onyx and XM3pi radios are on the XM platform and receive XM plans.
• The Sportster and Starmate radios are on the Sirius platform and receive Sirius plans.

Radios labeled as Sirius radios can only receive Sirius plans. XM radios can only receive XM plans. SiriusXM radios can only receive SiriusXM plans.
