Why can't my Sirius radio receive the Platinum plan?
Some older Sirius radios cannot receive all channels. They are, therefore, unable to receive the Platinum plan.
To find out if your radio can receive the Platinum plan, try tuning to one of the channels below:
- Channel 141 HUR Voices
- Channel 142 HBCU
- Channel 143 BYU Radio
- Channel 152 En Vivo
- Channel 153 SiriusXM 153
If you can tune to these channels, your radio can receive the Platinum plan.
If your radio is one of the few that cannot receive the Platinum plan but you'd like to enjoy everything those plans offer, consider upgrading to a newer model Sirius radio, available online at shop.siriusxm.com. Most radios are available with kits that allow for easy installation and use in your vehicle or at home.
