For Apple devices running iOS x or higher, swipe up to view all open apps, then swipe up on the app to close.

For Apple devices running iOS 7 or higher, double-click the home button, then swipe up on the app you would like to close.

For Apple devices running older versions of iOS

1. Double click the device home key to raise the multitasking tray.
2. Press and hold the SiriusXM icon.
3. Press the red circle icon to fully close the SiriusXM App.

NOTE: You can also pause the app and press the Home button to put the app into standby mode. This way, you won't have to log back into the app. The app will not consume any of your device's data plan or battery life when in standby mode.

For Android devices, bring up the recent apps menu (this varies by device, but usually involves pressing and holding or double-tapping the home button, or tapping the dedicated recent apps soft key on your device) and then swipe the SiriusXM app up or left to close. This will maintain your login information.

You can also use the Log Out button at the bottom of the Me menu to log out of the app and clear your login information. Typically, you would only use this method if you were accessing the service on someone else's device.
