Why does the SiriusXM Android app request permissions when I install it on my device?
The SiriusXM app for Android requests a variety of permissions in order to function correctly. The following permissions are requested:
- Internet: The app requires this permission to make internet requests back to SiriusXM for content and playback of SiriusXM channels and on-demand content.
- Bluetooth: Casting to compatible devices requires access to bluetooth.
- Push Notifications: Show & Event start notifications require this permission.
