You can choose between the Full Player and the Mini Player. The default option for the Mini Player is ON.

By selecting the Mini Player, a minimized Now Playing experience will open at the bottom of the screen each time you tune to content. The Mini Player allows you to continue browsing after tuning to content instead of going to the full Now Playing experience.

Once the Mini Player appears, you can easily expand to the full Now Playing experience by clicking on the Mini Player.
