Does CarPlay connect to the Streaming or satellite service? Am I using mobile data or connecting to the SiriusXM satellites?
CarPlay is not connected to your vehicle's satellite radio. It streams SiriusXM from your iPhone, which requires mobile data or internet service from a provider. This means that if you interact with Favorites on your satellite radio, those changes will not be synched with the SiriusXM Web Player, app or CarPlay experience.
