How do I link SiriusXM with my Google Home App and my Google Assistant-enabled devices (Google Nest Mini, Google Home)?
For a successful setup you should:
- Download the Google Home app to your mobile device. NOTE: Linking cannot be done from a computer or laptop.
- Sign into the Google Home App with your Google account and follow the directions to set up your speaker or display.
- If you’ve already set up your Google speaker or display, make sure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device.
If SiriusXM is NOT installed
- Launch the Google Home app.
- Tap the “+” in the upper left hand corner on the home screen.
- Tap Add services: Radio > SiriusXM.
- Tap OK on the “Link your SiriusXM account” consent screen.
- If listener’s SiriusXM and Google Home accounts are under the same email address, tap “Yes, and share” then “Agree and link”.
- If listener’s accounts are under different email addresses, tap “I have one with another email” and sign in with the SiriusXM account and password.
- Listeners can also create a new trial account with their Google Home account email address by tapping, “No, create one” > “Create and link”.
If SiriusXM is already installed
- Launch the Google Home app.
- Tap the “+” in the upper left hand corner on the home screen.
- Tap Add services: Radio > SiriusXM.
- Tap OK on the “Link your SiriusXM account” consent screen to launch the app.
- Complete linking by tapping “Agree”.
